ONE PLANET, ONE CLUB: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PARMA CALCIO

Parma, 16 December 2025 – One Planet. One Club. One unconditional love, without barriers or borders. At Fiere di Parma (Hall O1), Parma Calcio celebrated its 112th anniversary with a special evening that brought together players from all teams, technical staff, employees, club legends, commercial partners, local institutions and many more who share a love for the Gialloblù. Nearly 500 guests helped make the Club’s birthday a memorable night filled with emotion and affection.

True to the “One Planet. One Club” philosophy, Parma Calcio stands out on the global football stage with a squad featuring players from five continents. Multiculturalism is a defining strength, with representatives from across Europe (Belgium, Bosnia, Croatia, Denmark, Italy, Norway, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland), the Americas (Argentina, Brazil and the United States), Africa (Senegal), Asia (Japan) and Oceania (Australia). A diversity that comes together in Parma, where all parts of the Club – Men’s and Women’s teams, Special team, Legends and Youth Sector – form one united family.

Opening the evening, CEO Federico Cherubini highlighted the Club’s commitment to inclusion and multicultural values, with Parma firmly at the heart of the Krause family’s project. He also paid tribute to the return of key figures who have written the Club’s history through the Parma Legends initiative, while acknowledging the disappointment of recent results and reaffirming the determination to meet the Club’s sporting objectives across all teams.

The celebration took the form of a true sensory journey, with five themed food areas representing America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia, showcasing traditional dishes from the players’ cultures. At the centre stood Parma itself, with its world-famous local products. The evening was accompanied by live music from the Seven Seas Orchestra and Parma-born musician Emma Iovino, creating an elegant and immersive atmosphere.

Two special awards were presented: one to Corrado Sani (manager of the ticketing office) for his long-standing dedication to the Club, and one to Stefano Cavalli (Parma Special team coach) for his outstanding work in paralympic football.

Before the cutting of the cake, attended by all team coaches, Parma Mayor Michele Guerra addressed the guests, praising Parma Calcio’s deep bond with the city and its social and sustainability initiatives. The final word went to legendary coach Nevio Scala, recently back on the Parma Legends bench, who wished the current team a swift return to a calm and secure league position.

A 112-year history celebrated with those who believe in passion, belonging and unity – values that continue to guide Parma Calcio into the future.

Happy Birthday, Parma Calcio!
