PARMA CALCIO RECEIVES ISO 450001 CERTIFICATION

Parma, 11 dicembre 2025 - Parma, 11 December 2025 - Parma Calcio has added reaped more rewards for its growth throughout the past year. Six months after receiving its ISO 14001 Certification for the evironment, the Club has now been awarded with the ISO 45001 Certification, the standard for the protection of the health and safety of workers throughout the globe. As with the previous certification, the project was led by Parma's Chief Operations Officer, Stefano Perrone.

'Parma Calcio has reached another important objective thanks to its constant efforts for improvement, which the Club has implemented in recent years. We have received our ISO 45001 Certification, the international standard for health and safety in the workplace, as well as the workforce's wellbeing,' Perrone said.

The result is a significant step forward and marks Parma Calcio as one of the most advanced clubs in European football. It's no suprise then, as outlined by Perrone, that Parma are 'one of the first clubs in Europe to have received two ISO certifications'. 'This makes the Club proud,' he concluded. 'But it's not the end. These two certifications are only the beginning, and they are motivation to do better in our organisational model. We should keep growing and try to make as many internal improvements as we can, which then filter outwards, as happened with the ISO 14001 Certification for Play Green project. We want to present our internal models to our stakeholders. So, it's an achievement for the whole club and the whole company.'

ISO 45001 is designed to introduce a more transparent, systemic and proactive approach to health and safety in the workplace. Its aim is to ensure optimal conditions for workers and build a corporate culture focused on people's well-being. This simplified approach ensures safer working environments for employees and long-term success for organisations of all types. It is also essential for ensuring a reduction in accidents, injuries and occupational illnesses in the workplace. This certification helps to ensure that working environments are safe and that employees are protected from the harmful effects of unsafe conditions. Furthermore, by establishing clear rules on safety protocols and practices, certification according to the UNI ISO 45001 standard can also help to ensure worker involvement and improve morale in the workplace.
