The day opened with a presentation by Gianluca Baschieri, Head of Grassroots U9s–U14s and responsible for Parma Calcio’s youth development, who outlined the initiative’s objectives and the principles guiding the Club’s work with its youngest players. Participants then had the opportunity to observe a series of practical activities designed to demonstrate concrete applications of these principles.
The Under-9 and Under-10 groups took part in a multisport session integrating Judo and Futsal, aimed at broadening the young athletes’ motor skills and fostering the development of transferable abilities. Meanwhile, the Under-11 and Under-12 categories completed dedicated on-field training sessions, allowing attendees to closely observe the daily work of the Gialloblu Youth Sector staff.
The morning concluded with a collective debrief, offering participants the chance to discuss topics arising from the activities, engage with the technical staff, and reflect on the proposals presented. To close the day, attendees moved to the Ennio Tardini Stadium to watch Parma vs Udinese in Serie A, enjoying a further opportunity to experience cohesion and sporting identity firsthand.
This second session reinforced a programme that will continue over the coming months, with the goal of building a strong, skilled local network focused on youth development through the sharing of values, experiences, and common principles.
