PARMA CALCIO PROMOTES IMPROVED WELL-BEING TROUGH READING: THE ‘BIBLIOTHERAPY' PROJECT IS LAUNCHED

Parma 15 November 2025: Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body: This quote by Joseph Addison perfectly encapsulates the new iniative, Bibliotherapy, launched by Parma Calcio, aimed at improving people’s well-being.

The Bibliotherapy project combines culture and personal growth. Eco-friendly bookstands have been installed at the reception of the Mutti Training Centre in Collecchio and in the media room of Il Noce Sports Centre, featuring a curated selection of books designed to promote psychological well-being, introspection, and shared positive experiences amongst colleagues.

The iniative aims to promote introspection and personal growth through reading, while also making the work environment more nurturing with stronger relationships. Benefits of Bibliotherapy include increased empathy, more self-awareness, improved relationships, less stress and anxiety, better overall well-being, and a better mindset to take on everyday challenges.

Every Parma Calcio member of staff can choose any book they like, read it, and then return it to the shelf or share it with a colleague. Staff are also encouraged to contribute to the collection by adding their own books, along with a short note explaining why they chose it or what it’s dedicated to.

With this initiative, Parma Calcio strengthens its commitment to not just health and safety in the workplace but also to nurturing emotional well-being and personal growth for everyone in the Gialloblù family.
