PARMA CALCIO AND GIOCAMPUS: ENTHUSIASTIC START TO THE NEW SEASON

Parma, 11 November 2025 – The new Giocampus season kicked off with energy and smiles at the Ennio Tardini Stadium, in partnership with Parma Calcio. The opening day featured pupils from class 3A of San Benedetto School and class 3B of Porporano, as excited children experienced the thrill of stepping inside the city’s most iconic stadium. This event marked the official start of the latest edition of the long-running collaboration between Giocampus and Parma Calcio, first launched in 2017. Across the season, the initiative will involve 37 classes and more than 1,000 students in total.

Giocampus is an educational initiative that has been promoting healthy living and physical activity among young people for 25 years. The project brings together schools, institutions, universities, and local businesses from across the Parma area, creating a model of public–private collaboration that combines education, wellbeing, and social inclusion.

From today, and every Tuesday morning until May, the Tardini will once again open its doors to Year 3 classes from Parma and the surrounding area taking part in the initiative. Each session includes a rich programme designed to combine sport, culture, and nutritional awareness: a one-hour guided tour of the stadium, exploring the museum, dressing rooms, pitch, and press area, followed by a one-hour workshop on healthy eating with Maestri del Gusto.

The experience goes beyond sport, aiming to help children grow into more aware and responsible citizens who understand the importance of leading a healthy, balanced, and respectful lifestyle.

Among the supporting partners of Giocampus is Parma Calcio, which shares and promotes the project’s educational values through its broader social responsibility mission. The Club’s commitment extends beyond football, with tangible actions that support the community by promoting sport, inclusion, and wellbeing.

With this new season underway, Giocampus and Parma Calcio reaffirm their shared goal: helping future generations grow through movement, curiosity, and awareness. A small step for every child, and a powerful message from a city that continues to invest in education and the future.
