Florence, Saturday 1 November 2025 – The post-match comments of Parma Primavera coach Nicola Corrent following the 2–1 defeat to Fiorentina on Matchday 10 of the Primavera 1 season.

“It was a very tight, hard-fought game. In the first half we played really well and could even have gone ahead, despite conceding early. The boys reacted well and put in a strong performance.

At the start of the second half we struggled a bit, and unfortunately the penalty changed the flow of the game. We pushed to equalise and created a few chances, but in doing so left ourselves open. Fiorentina are a very strong side.

I congratulated the players because they gave absolutely everything. There are positives to take, even with the disappointment of the result. We’ll get back to work in two days’ time, with full focus on the next home match against Cesena, which will be another tough test.”
