Parma, Sunday 26 October 2025 – A brilliant start! The first Play Green matchday, played at Parma Calcio’s new eco-friendly ground, was a huge success.

The Club would like to thank all fans who showed great interest and awareness for the initiative, launched on Friday at the Ernesto Ceresini Museum, which aims to make the Ennio Tardini Stadium increasingly green. Our supporters deserve real appreciation for their commitment during the Serie A Matchday 8 fixture against Como, where they embraced the new enhanced recycling system – implemented for the first time in the stadium’s 100-plus-year history – by sorting waste correctly at the dedicated collection points.

There was plenty of curiosity, growing engagement from fans (complete with photos and selfies), and one particularly meaningful gesture: around 41 kilograms of food collected from the hospitality areas were donated to the local association “Parma non Spreca”.
