SERIE A | PARMA 0-0 COMO

Parma, Saturday 25 October – Parma vs Como ended 0-0 at the Tardini, on Matchday 8 of Serie A.

In the first half, Parma’s focus, high pressing and flawless defending kept the visitors at bay. Cesc Fàbregas’ side struggled to find space against the well-organised Gialloblù, who created several chances of their own. 13 minutes in, a long throw from Valenti reached Cutrone in the box, and his header struck the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Britschgi’s cross from the left found Bernabé, who fired over despite a good position. Five minutes later, a goal was ruled out for Cutrone's offside in the build-up. Como’s best reply came from Nico Paz, whose cross was turned behind by Delprato

After the break, Parma went close again in the 81st minute when Delprato, played in by Benedyczak, hit the ball first-time, but saw his effort saved by Butez. The closing stages were tense, with Parma compact in defence and Como pushing hard in search of a late winner, but the scoreline stayed unchanged. Final score: Parma 0-0 Como.
