Genoa, 19 October 2025 – Parma played out a goalless draw against Genoa at the Marassi. They did so with ten men from the 42nd minute of the first half after Ndiaye was sent off for a second yellow card. The first half was evenly balanced, with both teams sizing each other up. The first effort in anger came in first-half stoppage time, with Suzuki saving from Malinovskyi. In the second half, the same Genoa man had another go at goal, but Suzuki tipped it away with a diving save (63’). A minute later, Masini also shot from outside the box, but Suzuki was in place to make the stop. Then, in the 68th minute, Ellertsson fired over the bar. In the closing stages, Suzuki took centre stage again, first keeping out a powerful Ekhator header (82’) before saving a Cornet penalty deep into added time following a foul by Triolo on Ekhator in the box. A nail-biting finish and the game ended 0-0, just as it had begun.
