Noceto, 15 October 2025 - Huge joy at the home of Parma Calcio Women: Caterina Ambrosi, the First-Team Captain, has been called up to the National Team for the first time, by Coach Andrea Soncin, ahead of the prestigious friendlies against Japan and Brazil. The matches are set to take place, respectively, on Friday 24 October in Como, and Tuesday 28 October at Stadio 'Ennio Tardini' in Parma, with both matches starting at 18:15 CEST.

For Ambrosi, a key pillar of Parma Calcio Women and vital part of the promotion to Serie A, this is an important recognition of her work and growth with Parma. The defender, who was born in 1999, will be on of the 30 Azzurre chosen by the Coach for the two final home games of 2025, before the tour of the United States.

The Brazil match is a particularly special moment for the city of Parma, which will host the National Team at the 'Tardini' once again.
