Parma, 4 October 2025 – Midfielder Nahuel Estévez reflects on the 1-0 defeat to Lecce on Matchday 6 of Serie A.

“In the opening minutes we were in the game and created a few chances. After that goal – a strange situation that looked more like a cross than a shot – we struggled to recover, but we have to learn from that. Later, we pushed forward and even had an opportunity to score in the final minutes.

The team, as always, fought and worked hard until the end. Now we have the international break to focus on training. Last year we had a young squad, and it’s the same now. We know we need to learn from our mistakes and adapt to these tough, scrappy matches. We’ll work on it during the next two weeks.

When we concede, we need to lift our heads immediately. There are areas to improve. The real Estévez? I’m here to help the team. The coach makes the decisions, and everyone in the squad is eager to play.”
