Cremona, September 21, 2025 – A prestigious milestone for Parma captain Enrico Delprato, who reached 150 appearances in the Gialloblù shirt during the match against Cremonese. A number that reflects sacrifice, dedication, and his love for these colours. Arriving in the summer of 2021, Delprato hasn’t just worn the shirt, he’s made it his own, becoming a key figure both on and off the pitch. The legacy left by Gianluigi Buffon, whose captain’s armband he inherited, has become an inspiration for him – to lead Parma with pride, courage and team spirit. At the end of the match, Mandela Keita was awarded the Seria A MVP Award.
“I was told during the week that the game against Cremonese would be my 150th appearance for Parma. It’s an honour for me to represent this team and this city. Today, we had another great turnout of fans,” Delprato began. “We’re celebrating that we kept a clean sheet, and since I’m a defender I’m very happy about that. What was missing? This result against Cremonese is good considering they have three consecutive positive results, it was never going to be easy. There is some regret, because right at the start and towards the end we had two chances to take the lead. But the positive thing is that we fought until the very end and kept a clean sheet. Now we can work on improving. The only thing missing is the goal, the team works well together. Also last week against Cagliari we had lots of chances. There are periods where you take shots and nothing goes in, and others when goals come quickly.”
