Parma, 17 August 2025- A special moment of remembrance took place at half-time during the Parma vs. Pescara match in the first round of the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa. Parma Calcio CEO Federico Cherubini presented a commemorative shirt to Stefano Cavalli, coach of Parma Special (DCPS), in memory of his son Damiano, who passed away in August 2021.

It was an emotional moment, met with applause from the entire Tardini, who came together around Cavalli and his family to honour Damiano and his bond with the Gialloblù family.

A symbolic gesture through which Parma Calcio aimed to show its closeness with its coach and his family, reaffirming the values of solidarity and community that have always defined the Club. This remembrance was also joined by the fourth edition of the tournament dedicated to Damiano Cavalli, held on Saturday 16 August in Lugagnano Superiore, in the Municipality of Monchio delle Corti. The initiative joined Parma Special and Damiano’s friends for a day defined by sport, friendship, and shared memory.

The event on Saturday began with Holy Mass and continues with a four-team tournament, at the end of which Stefano Cavalli was presented with a Parma Calcio scarf and several gifts offered by local institutions.
