Parma, 17 August 2025- Parma are through to the next stage of the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa with a strong performance today: in front of more than 6,000 fans at the Tardini, the Gialloblù beat Pescara 2–0. The win came thanks to a beautiful brace from Pellegrino, both headers in the second half, but Carlos Cuesta’s side, making their official debut under the new coach, had already shown plenty of promise in the first 45 minutes. First with the threat of an own goal as Letizia’s clearance struck the bar and was knocked away by goalkeeper Desplanches (21’), then just before the half-time whistle, when Keita’s cross from the right was met by a powerful header, which once again hit the crossbar. In the second half, the Argentine striker made no mistake: both goals came from perfect deliveries from Valeri, first from a corner, and the second from a left-wing cross.
In the next round, Cuesta’s Gialloblù will play the winner of Spezia vs Sampdoria.
