Noceto, 22 July 2026<\/em> \u2013 Parma Calcio 1913 is delighted to announce the signing of Birta Georgsd\u00f3ttir<\/strong>, who joins the Gialloblu following the end of her spell with Genoa. The Icelandic forward has signed a contract with the Club until 2028.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Born in 2002, Georgsd\u00f3ttir came through the youth ranks at FH and Stjarnan before establishing herself at Brei\u00f0ablik, where she spent five seasons and won both the Icelandic league title and the Icelandic Women’s Football Cup in 2025. That same year, she was named Player of the Year in Iceland’s top flight before making the move to Italy to join Genoa for the first overseas spell of her career.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Georgsd\u00f3ttir shared her first thoughts as a Parma Calcio player:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n ‘I’m delighted to join Parma and excited to begin this new chapter.
