Noceto, 11 June 2026<\/em> \u2013 Parma Calcio and the Municipality of Noceto<\/strong> are pleased to announce the signing of a seven-year agreement for the strategic and operational management of the ‘Il Noce’ Sports Centre.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Under the deal, signed today, Parma Calcio will take over management of the facility with the shared aim of bringing expertise and resources to bear on improving the complex making it more functional, modern, and firmly established as a sporting hub for the area, at both recreational and professional level.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The ‘Il Noce’ Sports Centre has for several years served as the home base for all of Parma Calcio’s women’s teams, as well as hosting the men’s Primavera 1 side’s home fixtures. Through this new investment, the club reaffirms its commitment to the development of the Women’s project and the growth of the men’s youth sector.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As well as ensuring cohesive, coordinated management of the entire facility, the club will make targeted investments to upgrade and improve the infrastructure of ‘Il Noce’, a venue that has been operational since 2006 and has long been regarded as a centre of excellence for the province and region, having hosted major sporting events and final training sessions for Serie A clubs over the years.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The initiative is aimed at both advancing professional sporting activity and supporting local grassroots organisations. The agreement will ensure that the youth teams of local clubs \u2014 specifically ASD Noceto and GS Fraore, the outgoing operators of the facility \u2014 can continue to carry out all their activities at the sports centre without disruption.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The project is designed to create an integrated organisational model in which a top professional club can coexist and develop in full partnership with the local youth football community, a virtuous arrangement, deeply rooted in the area and guided by principles of social sustainability, inclusion, and community development.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

‘We are delighted to announce this agreement,’ said Federico Cherubini<\/strong>, CEO of Parma Calcio 1913. ‘It was strongly supported by the ownership and everyone at the club, who believe deeply in the development of women’s football and in nurturing young talent. This is a further confirmation of the sustained commitment, both financial and structural, that the club has maintained over several seasons, with the aim of providing our players and supporters with a functional, modern, and increasingly welcoming facility: an essential foundation for their sporting and personal development.’<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

‘Today is an important day for our community,’ said Fabio Fecci<\/strong>, Mayor of Noceto. ‘This agreement is the result of a lengthy and complex negotiation that we pursued as a local authority with the goal of maximising the benefits for our community. It consolidates Noceto’s standing as a sporting reference point at provincial and regional level. It also vindicates the decision taken back in 2006 to build Il Noce, in the belief that sport has genuine social value and that this facility would become an engine of growth for the area and everything that has followed has proved us right. With this agreement, Parma Calcio will manage our centre for the next seven years, in a partnership built on clear objectives, shared responsibilities, and a common vision of sport as a public good. This is not simply a management arrangement, it is also recognition of twenty years of dedication from the Municipality of Noceto, local clubs, and the many volunteers who together have built Il Noce into the respected institution it is today. A particular thank you goes to the temporary business association Noceto Fraore for eleven years of management and for everything they have done for football in Noceto. I am confident they will continue to operate with commitment and expertise alongside the new management. And I thank Parma Calcio for the trust they have placed in our municipality, and for choosing Noceto once again as a serious and reliable partner.’<\/p>\n
