We\u2019ll enjoy this moment: I’ll give them three days off, because they deserve it, especially seeing as we won\u2019t be playing until after the international break, and even then on Sunday. Mikolajewski\u2019s brace? He\u2019s a special player. Beyond the goals, he works so hard for the team \u2013 he’s constantly making sacrifices and shows great spirit. I didn\u2019t know him before, but I have to congratulate him: he\u2019s behaving like a top player. That said, the whole team did well. I feel sorry for some of the boys who didn\u2019t get on the pitch today \u2013 I\u2019d have liked to give them minutes, but it wasn\u2019t possible. It\u2019s a long season, we\u2019re only at Matchday 11, and there\u2019s still a long way to go. Everyone needs to stay involved with the project.What does it mean for some Primavera players to train with the First Team? It\u2019s hugely important for them \u2013 a real privilege to work alongside Serie A players, and it gives them an edge. Of course, it\u2019s a bit more difficult for us when we have fewer players in training, but that\u2019s part of it. The main thing to remember is that their goal isn\u2019t only to do well with the Primavera, but also to be ready when the First Team calls. That\u2019s something that always has to stay in focus.Mentally, was this a step forward today? Yes, it was. We talked about it. We\u2019d lost to Atalanta and Fiorentina, I think unfairly (especially against Fiorentina, because we played really well). But the precision, experience, and quality of the opposition made the difference. The boys are aware of the journey we\u2019re on and know there\u2019s still plenty to improve. This was one of those steps. They gave everything to get a result against a team that was above us in the table.
