Not in terms of ideas or how to play and use their strengths, but in terms of who has playing. The first thing I did was apologise to Almqvist as I made it tough for him in the role that he played. Then, in the second half, they did well to react, to believe in themselves and to stay in the game. However, I take responsibility for the first half, as I made the mistake. Pellegrino’s chance in added time? I didn’t see it as someone was walking in front of me, I only saw the ball go behind. The game? I leave all doors open, we can’t limit ourselves to only one system but we must adapt to the opponent. It is true that I changed everything in the second half, but Inter also changed, they were less aggressive and they thought the game was already won. They allowed us to gain ground and to play forward, with a striker and two players supporting him, we managed to create more, even though I didn’t like the start of the second half. I brought on Ondrejka straight away as he has a lot of energy, quality, pace and power. And as such, we managed to take hold of the game. I like that this team is lively, we believe in ourselves and we work well. It wasn’t easy today playing against Inter, with that deficit in the second half, but we played really well. All it took was a spark, like a goal, making a team like Inter slightly uncomfortable. However, we managed to find the courage to respond and everyone who came on helped a lot. His past at Inter? I don’t deny my past, Inter made me grow as a person and as a player, and also as a coach. My pride, affection and recognition of what they have done will forever remain with me, so obviously playing this team isn’t easy. But I think of my Parma and our objective to stay in this league. We must stay humble, with our feet on the ground, we must work with more conviction and knowing that we can do better than we have so far.
