Collecchio, 15 May 2025 <\/em>\u2013 Mathias Johan Fj\u00f8rtoft L\u00f8\ufeff<\/span>vik <\/strong>gave his presentation press conference at the Mutti Training Center alongside Sporting Director Mauro Pederzoli<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Mauro Pederzoli began the conference: \u201cThank you for coming to Mathias L\u00f8vik\u2019s conference. He is joining Parma on a permanent deal from Molde. He\u2019s a player we know well; we\u2019ve followed him closely and really wanted to bring him in. He\u2019s young but already has a lot of experience, having played a lot in the Norwegian top flight. He’s also played in all three European competitions: the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League. He\u2019s good technically, as well as being a great professional and person. We\u2019re sure he will give the team a big hand. We\u2019re pleased to have him here and present him to you now. I\u2019m sure you\u2019ll get to appreciate his work on the pitch.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A DREAM COME TRUE<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s an honour for me to be here. When I was a kid, I got two shirts as presents, the first two I ever got: the first was Cristiano Ronaldo, who is a big source of inspiration for my, and the other was Fabio Cannavaro \u2013 I know he played here. I admire him a lot and I hope I make him proud.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n OUR FANS ARE SPECIAL<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cMy first impressions from the Genoa were good, even though we didn\u2019t get the result we wanted. But the atmosphere was amazing. I loved the way the fans supported the team. I\u2019m looking forward to an amazing adventure.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n FULL-BACK THAT LIKES TO ATTACK<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cIn Norway, I usually played as a left wing-back in a 3-4-3. That\u2019s my best position. I do like to attack as well, so I can also play further up the pitch. Pecchia has given me a slow introduction because he knows how difficult it can be to adapt. I\u2019m clear on what he expects of me, both on and off the pitch. It\u2019s just been the winter break, so I\u2019m feeling fresh and rested. The medical went well. I\u2019ve got a lot of energy, definitely more than I had before the break for Christmas. I\u2019m the first Norwegian in Parma history and I\u2019m proud of that. I\u2019d like to contribute to making history at this club. I remember some of the Parma greats, such as Buffon, Cannavaro, Thuram, and Crespo. I would also love to become a big player for Parma. Let\u2019s see how it goes. Serie A is one of the Top-5 European leagues. The level of quality is really high. I\u2019ve played in Europe before but I think that Serie A will be a nice challenge. I expect to have fun and improve so that I can become one of the best players in the league. I feel ready for Serie A and to help the team win. In terms of my strengths, I would say strength, agility and fluid running in attack and defence. I think I\u2019m a modern footballer, who likes to dribble and can attack. I would like to make a good impression on the fans, maybe by putting on a bit of a show.
