SMART HYDRATION, A EUROPEAN PROJECT IN PARTNERSHIP WITH KAMLEON

Parma Calcio, in collaboration with Kamleon – a leading company in smart sensor technology – has received funding from the European Union’s Erasmus+ Sport programme for the Smart Hydration project.

The initiative aims to promote healthy habits among young players and professionals by monitoring hydration levels and raising awareness of the importance of overall wellbeing.

Through the installation of cutting-edge smart technology in restrooms at both the Ennio Tardini Stadium and the Club’s training centre, Parma Calcio can now monitor hydration across all age levels – from the First Team to the Academy – and receive real-time feedback.

This “invisible” and innovative monitoring system offers valuable insights into player health, playing a crucial role in injury prevention.

As part of the project, educational workshops have also been held, involving the families of the Club’s youngest players to deepen understanding of hydration and the broader goals of Smart Hydration.
